The market saw few issuances of short-term money instruments on Thursday because the demand from fund houses were thin on limited inflows in their schemes, dealers said.

On Thursday, Rs 450 crore worth of certificates of deposit were placed in the market, down from Rs 1,025 crore on Wednesday.

The rates on short-term papers also rose 10 basis points on Thursday.

Three-month CDs were dealt at 7.60-7.80 per cent as against 7.50-7.70 per cent Wednesday, while three-month commercial papers were dealt flat from the previous day at 8.10-8.30 per cent.
