The top global audit 25 firms that perform transnational audits would be working closely through a newly created Forum of Firms, in which a transnational auditors committee has been set up to develop a global self-regulatory regime that will include an ongoing programme of international quality assurance reviews, investigations and education of auditors.
Most of these firms operate in India as well. Internally, at least one members of the Big Four of global audit giants has also set up an independent quality audit committee to report to capital markets on veracity of its audit procedures.
