Money transfer agent Western Union is looking to extend its reach beyond the 75 post offices it has tied up with for money transfer services.

Currently, as per foreign exchange regulations put down by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), only foreign exchange transfers are permitted into the country. This facility will enable recipients to receive money at any post office which is part of the alliance.

Western Union has also tied up with Bank of Karnataka in order to offer wire transfers for their customers.
