Smart service seems to be catchphrase for Yes Bank, the new kid on the banking block. |
Doing away with the norms of conventional dressing, the bank has decided to dress up its staff with designer outfits. Walking that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, the bank will have an in-house cafe so that customers can sip beverages and grab a munch while their transactions are being processed. |
Helping the bank conceptualise and design its branches are Alok Nanda & Co, renowed architects Mohit Gujral and Alfaz Miller. The Mumbai-based Alok Nanda & Co already has to its credit Barista Cafe and Kaya Skin Clinic among others. |
The bank has also roped in eminent personality trainer Nasha Fitter, an expert in the banking sphere. Fitter will conduct workshops for the bank's retail staff. |
The one-month-old private bank will have a Yes School of Training in the metros. The school will also be a training ground for third parties. |
The advertising campaign for the bank will be handled by Triton Communications. Bharat Patel, chairman of Procter & Gamble Health & Hygiene, who recently joined the bank's board, will provide valuable marketing insights. |
According to Rana Kapoor, managing director and chief executive officer of Yes Bank, "We want to offer a different experience to our customers. We recently got 12 branch licences from the Reserve Bank of India and we want to open around 250 branches in five years." |
The branches will have three centres "" technology centre (for information on products and services), service centre (for customer care) and knowledge centre (for banking transactions). The bank is also looking at opening branches at malls which are fast mushrooming across the suburbs. |
