Yogakshemam raises Rs 23 cr

Thrissur-based non banking financial company Yogakshemam Loans Ltd has raised Rs 23 crore through a right issue.

With the fund infusion, the company's equity base has gone up to Rs 45 crore. Yogakshemam Loans is promoted by its chairman ND Narayanan.

Addressing a press conference today Unnikrishnan I, managing director and CEO of the company, said the company had planned to use the increased equity for foraying into vehicle financing and expand its presence in micro and small enterprise lending and gold loans.

He said the company planned to emerge as the best professionally-run diversified NBFC in the next five years.

The senior management of the company had already been strengthened by inducting experienced professionals and subject experts to achieve the goal.

The company's main branch would start functioning from a new premise near here will be inaugurated tomorrow.
