Bye- election to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council from Bareily-Moradabad Division Graduates' Constituency

There is a casual vacancy in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council from Bareily-Moradabad Division Graduates Constituency. The details of vacancy is as under:-

2. The Commission has decided to hold a bye-election to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council to fill the above mentioned vacancy from Bareily-Moradabad Division Graduates constituency in accordance with the following programme:-

	Issue of Notification	:	13th October, 2014 ( Monday )
	Last date of making nominations	:	20th October, 2014 (Monday )
	Scrutiny of nominations	:	21st October, 2014 (Tuesday)
	Last date for withdrawal of candidature	:	27th October, 2014 (Monday)
	Date of Poll	:	11th November, 2014 (Tuesday)
	Hours of Poll		8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
	Counting of votes	:	14th November (Friday) at 8:00 A.M
	Date before which election shall be completed	:	17th November, 2014 (Monday)

 






3.The Model Code of Conduct as applicable to Elections to Graduates & Teachers Constituencies will come into force with immediate effect in the district(s) within which the above Constituencies are comprised. In addition, the provisions of Model Code of Conduct and ECI instructions applicable to Legislative Assembly Elections, with regard to defacement of public & private properties, shall also be applicable. Detailed instructions with regard to applicable provisions of Model Code of Conduct for these elections have been separately issued.
