The National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) chaired by the Cabinet Secretary Shri Ajit Seth continued its review of the situation in J&K arising on account of floods. The Committee was informed that nearly 20,000 persons have been rescued from various places by the Army and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
