Heeding to the clarion call by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to fulfil the dream of Mahatma Gandhi of a Swachh Bharat (Clean India), the Ministry of Defence started the Swachhta drive in the right earnest here today. The ambitious drive begun with the Swachhta Pledge being administered by the Secretary (Defence Production) Shri G Mohan Kumar to all Officers and Staff of the Ministry at South Block. The event saw the spontaneous participation of officers right from the Secretary level to Multi-Tasking Staff of the Ministry.
