Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Zonal Cultural Centres under Ministry of Culture are organizing National Cultural Exchange Programmes (NCEP) all over India to develop and promote the rich diversity and uniqueness of various arts of India and to upgrade and enrich consciousness of the people about their cultural heritage. The North-East Zone Cultural Center is also organizing Octave festival of North-East in other parts of the country for promotion of the rich cultural heritage of the region. This programmes help to enhance interaction between people living in different states. Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) under Ministry of Culture organizes variety of training programmes for teachers and workshops and camps for students belonging to various parts of the country. CCRT has imparted training to 156349 teachers belonging to various parts of the country. 673508 students have been enriched with interstate cultural understanding and ethos of the country. Other organizations under Ministry of Culture viz. Sangeet Natak Akademi, Sahitya Akademi and Lalit Kala Akademi conduct various activities like National Camps, National Exhibition of Art, Camps, workshops, cultural performances, symposia, poets meets, etc. throughout the country.
