Indian Army has carried out approximately 734 Km long fencing along Line of Control and International Border with Pakistan in Jammu & Kashmir, which is under their operational control. As per the norms, the border fence is constructed at 150 yards from the International Border. However, the alignment of fence is finalised keeping in view the geographical terrain and other related constraints on the site.
