The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 90.50 per barrel (bbl) on 09.10.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 90.15 per bbl on previous publishing day of 08.10.2014.
In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs 5524.12 per bbl on 09.10.2014 as compared to Rs 5540.62 per bbl on 08.10.2014. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 61.04 per US$ on 09.10.2014 as against Rs 61.46 per US$ on 08.10.2014.
