Greek Defence Minister Visits India Mr. Panos Kammenos, the National Defence Minister of Greece is visiting India from 17-19 December 2015. Minister Kammenos held meetings with Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar and MoS (External Affairs) on 18 December 2015. Both sides held discussions on various issues in the field of defence and security and agreed to deepen cooperation between defence establishments of both sides including in areas of Naval cooperation, ship visit, training and other professional exchanges. The two sides also agreed to explore cooperation in the area of Defence Technology, Research and Development. Both sides also shared their perspectives on regional security issues. The Greek Defence Minister is also accompanied by an industry delegation and is scheduled to join an interactive session with representatives from Greek and Indian industries tomorrow. DM/RAJ
