Indian Railways' Freight Loading up by 4.51 per cent during April 2014-February 2015

Indian Railways carried 996.00 million tonnes of revenue earning freight traffic during 1st April 2014 to 28th February 2015. The freight carried shows an increase of 42.95 million tonnes over the freight traffic of 953.05 million tonnes actually carried during the corresponding period last year, registering an increase of 4.51 per cent.
