Expressing his concern over the depleting number of films in Kannada film industry P. Sheshadri, director of the Kannada film December 1 said that Government should come forward to extend financial support and subsidies for regional films in India. He added that Kannada film industry had a glorious time during 1970s and 80s , but is now passing through a low phase which need enhanced Government support for its revival.
