The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS in PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Deptt. of Atomic Energy and Deptt. Of Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that Development of North East region is a priority for his Government and it includes not only infrastructural development but also cultural and social integration of the North East region in the national mainstream. For that purpose, more and more use of Hindi in the programmes of the Ministry of DoNER plays an important contribution towards integrating the region in the national mainstream and to highlight their culture and traditions. He presented the awards to the winners of the Hindi competitions in the DoNER ministry held during Hindi Fortnight and for celebrating Swachhta Abhiyaan etc.
