Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Meets Muslim Clerics Assures Safety, Dignity And Prosperity of Minorities Union Minister of State for Parliamentary & Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that politics of hatred of professional and traditional hate mongers needed to be defeated through unity and harmony. While meeting with a large number of Muslim clerics and other members of the community, Shri Naqvi assured them that religious and social rights of Minorities are absolutely safe in India. Some unfortunate incidents cant affect peace, unity and harmony in the country. Shri Naqvi said that conspiracy to block countrys progress has been exposed. Those elements, who want to destroy nations harmony, prosperity and security can be defeated by our unity only. Shri Naqvi expressed that if we fall into the trap of these anti-national and anti-social forces, then it will be a matter of celebration for these evil elements. Shri Naqvi said that we will protect safety, dignity and prosperity of Minorities of the country from becoming a victim of narrow-minded politics of self-proclaimed champions of secularism. Shri Naqvi said that time has come to stop hurting sentiments for votes- people of the country have repeatedly been giving this message and lesson to political champions of secularism. It is the responsibility of all of us to protect safety and socio-economic concerns of people of the country especially Minorities, narrow political interests should not be allowed to come into the way of fulfilling this responsibility. Shri Naqvi said that after coming to power, the Modi Government has taken strong steps for over-all development of underprivileged, dalits, poor sections including Minorities. This has created an atmosphere of trust among Minorities. Some merchants of votes are not able to digest this positive environment. Shri Naqvi said that the BJP Government is moving ahead with commitment to inclusive growth under strong leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi so that progress of every section, every person is ensured irrespective of his religion. Indias unity is the strength of progress and if this unity is broken, this will destroy of fabric of development. Shri Naqvi said that the Modi Government is working with commitment to good governance. No obstacle will be able to successful in the way of good governance and development. We cant compromise with safety and social harmony of the country. Shri Naqvi said that intention of the BJP is very clear and it is to take the country ahead on development path. We believe in politics of development, positive politics. We condemn divisive politics which creates confrontation in the society. We will have to fight united against those forces whose intentions are to destroy countrys social harmony.
