The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Sarbananda Sonowal has said that 'Sports' is a State subject. Promotion & development of sports including setting up of a grievance redressal mechanism, is the responsibility of the concerned National Sports Federation (NSF) and the State Governments.
