Students of Chhattisgarh meet MoS (Home) Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary The Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary met the children from Chhattisgarh here today. The group, comprising 72 students of class 9th and 10th, are mainly from remote and tribal areas of Chhattisgarh. The students along with 8 teachers flagged off from Narayanpur on 18th March, 2016. As part of the programme, the children visited many historical places of Delhi. The cultural tour of students is being organized by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), under direction of Ministry of Home Affairs. During the meet, the children shared their experience of visit to different historical places. While interacting with the children, Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary advised the students to focus on studies and wished them a great career ahead. He also advised them to involve themselves in the village activities, including Swachh Bharat campaign. Commenting on the role of Government in LWE areas, Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary said that every district in Chhattisgarh is given grants of Rs.30 crore every year. He also assured that the Government of India is taking up multi-prolonged strategy focussed on development to improve the quality of life in these backward regions. The Minister said that the children should share their experience with their friends and families when they go back home. He also wished them success and happiness in their future.
