Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh leaves on five-day visit to China A delegation led by the Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh left for Beijing today on a six-day official visit to China. Shri Rajnath Singh said, I'm looking forward to my visit to China. Hope it would help in deepening of mutual understanding and trust. During my China visit I intend to further strengthen the tradition of mutual learning and better understanding from each other, he added. During the visit, he will call on the Chinese Premier Mr. Li Keqiang and hold bilateral talks with Mr. Guo Shengkun, State Councillor and Minister, Ministry of Public Security in Beijing tomorrow followed by the signing of a Joint Statement. Shri Rajnath Singh will hold a meeting with Mr. Meng Jianzhu, Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China and visit a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Unit besides a local Police Station on Friday. The Union Home Minister will leave Beijing for Shanghai on Saturday where he will visit the citys Command and Control Centre on Monday.
