Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar Declares IIM Trichy New Permanent Campus Open The Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar today declared open the new permanent campus of Indian Institute of Management, Trichy in Tamil Nadu through Video Conferencing here in New Delhi. Speaking on this occasion he congratulated the faculty of IIM Trichy for the timely completion of New Campus and expressed hope that best quality education in the new premises will be offered to the students coming there with promising dreams of a settled and secure career. The Minister said in our quest for quality education and our quest for continuous improvement in the quality of higher education and providing facilities for medical student ths government has opened 7 new IIMs, 6 New IITs One New Central University , One New IIIT and one new NIT, more than 104 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 62 Navodaya Vidyalayas. Our effort is for expansion of quality education, he said. The Minister exhorted the students for extending helping hand to society as and when required in future as for now the expenses on their career building are coming from the taxes paid by the citizen and society at large. He also accepted the invitation of faculty to visit IIM Trichy in near future.
