Visit of Commander of Srilanka Navy Chief Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera

Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera, Commander of the Srilanka Navy is on an official visit to India from 26 to 30 October 2014. The visiting Chief was accorded a Guard of Honour on his arrival at the South Block. He thereafter called on the CNS, Admiral RK Dhowan and is scheduled to meet officials in the Ministry of Defence and the National Security Adviser. The visiting CNS will also travel to the Headquarters Eastern and Southern Naval Commands and visit various training and operational facilities at Vishakhapatnam and Kochi.
