US President Donald Trump is all set to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday. He tweeted last week the US could no longer tolerate massive trade deficits and job losses, pointing finger towards China. Here is a look at the Chinese trade balances.  Hong Kong and the United States are placed first and second, respectively, among trade partners with which the People’s Republic posted the highest positive balances. China’s total trade balance for all products equalled a positive $530.3 billion in 2016, more than doubling from a $196.1-billion surplus during 2009. Year over year, China’s recent $530.3-billion trade surplus represents an -11.6% reduction from its $600.2-billion surplus for 2015.
