E-commerce giant Alibaba's founder Jack Ma is all set to financially support an eight-year-old doppelganger after the latter's photos showing a striking resemblance to the Alibaba founder went viral.
Fan Xiaoqin, alias ‘Mini Jack Ma’ became an internet sensation when someone from his village posted his video last year. Ever since, China’s netizens had been goading Ma to help out his mini-lookalike. The video shows Xiaoqin's parents as handicapped and his family in a pitiable condition.
Xiaoqin’s mother suffers from polio, his father's leg is missing and his grandmother is suffering with Alzheimer’s. Fan Xiaoqin lives in Yongfeng County, east China's Jiangxi Province.
The video posted on social media was confirmed to be real and not photoshopped. Forbes magazine described ‘mini Jack Ma’ as a eight-year old boy with protruding cheekbones, disheveled hair and mischievous dew tooth smiles, much like China’s second richest man.
