AOL has reportedly acquired Internet personalization specialists Gravity for $90.7 million.
The move is set to give AOL a platform for its publishing network of more than 2,000 partners to 116 million different visitors.
Founded by former MySpace employees Amit Kapur, Jim Benedetto and Steve Pearman in 2009 with the goal of "personalizing the Internet", Gravity is the first major acquisition for AOL since the company bought video advertising platform Adap.tv in August 2013, Mashable reported.
AOL is yet to release details of the split for Gravity's 90.7 million dollars.
