Laughing at himself is a skill the US President has mastered over the years, and in a skit that aired at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday, he shared in a humorous way his plans at Washington DC for two years after he retires.

Traditionally, presidents don’t stick around after completion of their tenure, and lately Obama has been brooding over it. The video commences with journalists citing reports of how he will go from “commander-in-chief” to “couch commander.”

While he shunned them, he enumerated his dilemma by seeking advice from US Vice-President Joe Biden, who shows more enthusiasm in selecting shades. He eventually calls up a local sports team for a coaching opportunity, who turn him down after learning his experience is only about coaching his daughters’ teams’ couple of times.

POTUS—who is used to being chauffeured around, got a bitter taste of life when he had to wait in line to receive a driver’s licence, and not only produce his birth certificate, but testify its originality as he says, “it’s real” and gets countered repeatedly with “is it?”

Going forward, his heartfelt Snapchat message from his wife’s Michelle Obama’s phone advocating the Obamacare turns hilarious with some monstrous filters. A hassled Michele manages to snatch her phone away and advices him to “talk to someone who has been through it (retirement).”

Obama then approaches John Boehner, former Republican Speaker of the House, for advice. While both are seen bonding over a Toy Story screening, what makes the video more interesting is that their ties had turned bitter after their failure to secure a multi-year budget compromise, according to 9News.

From Boehner remarking "So now you want my advice?” he tells his former rival to just be himself. He also tempts Obama to smoke a cigarette, a reference to rumours that the president smoked in secret

The video closes with probably the most swag loaded presidential walk, as Obama and Boehner walk through the halls of the White House with shades over their eyes and wine in Boehner’s hand.

The comedy skit came as Obama fired out the jokes about election at the dinner, his fading days as president and, of course, Donald Trump.

He closed his speech at the dinner with "Obama out," in Kobe Bryant style and a mic drop before receiving standing ovation from everyone around.
