UK Military Intelligence Section 5 (MI5) has warned the British public of terror threat from Al-Qaeda and its affiliates in Pakistan
and Yemen.
Director General of MI5 Andrew Parker said the security services must have access to the new means of communication, which terrorists use these days, the BBC reports.
He further added that knowing an individual does not mean knowing everything about them.
Parker said he did not believe the terrorist threat was any worse now than before, but it was more diffused, more complicated, and more unpredictable.
Parker also claimed that extremist Sunni groups in Syria were aspiring to attack Western countries.
