Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has endorsed the military attack plan of US President Barack Obama against Syria.
"Secretary Clinton supports the President's effort to enlist the Congress in pursuing a strong and targeted response to the Assad regime's horrific use of chemical weapons," a Clinton aide said in a statement.
This was the first statement coming from the office of the former top American diplomat after Obama announced his decision last Saturday.
Her husband and the former US president, Bill Clinton, too has reportedly supported Obama's stand on Syria, according to some media reports. However, he hasn't issued any direct statement so far.
