Internet giant Google has maintained its top position in the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces survey, for a third year in a row. It has been among the top 5 companies for at least five consecutive editions of the survey.

The 2015 edition of the survey, conducted by the Great Places to Work Institute, selected the top 25 names from among more than 6,600 participating companies. While no Indian company has been able to break into the top-25, many of the multinationals on the list have a substantial presence in India.

While SAS Institute has maintained its position at number two, NetApp W L Gore & Associates have switched positions. NetApp, which was third in 2014, slipped one notch to fourth, while W L Gore & Associates climbed from fourth to third. Belcorp, which was fifth in the 2014 survey, has dropped to 12th this year. On the fifth position this time is Telefónica (14th last year).

Among the new entrants to the list were, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), at eighth place, Information technology and software company Cadence (21), Hilti (22), EY (23), retail-clothing company H&M (24), and pharmaceuticals major Novo Nordisk (25).
