Militants reportedly flee from Karachi attack site

The militants who had attacked the Airport Security Force (ASF) Academy here located near the Karachi Airport have reportedly fled the spot.

Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif has also reportedly ordered that the attackers be eliminated.

Earlier today, militants ambushed the ASF; just a day after a siege by the Taliban there left 28 dead.

Firing was reported from two different locations.

Pakistan media reports that at least 5 militants are involved in the attack and they reportedly tried to destroy planes.

Five security personnel have also been reportedly injured in the attack.

The latest strike comes just a day after militants had taken over a terminal of Karachi airport. The siege by militants dressed as security personnel had led to the death of 28 people, including 10 terrorists.
