A virtual exhibition aimed at providing a peek into Israel's heritage, music and innovation through nine huge door-shaped screens will get underway here in Bengaluru next week.

The 17-day 'Open a Door to Israel' exhibition, a virtual tour of Israel, will start on September 9.

"To the true face of Israel; to Israel in all its beauty and complexity. Our goal is to expose as many people as possible to the country's heritage, music scene, family life, education system and innovation," Gilad Erdan, Israel's Public Security, Strategic Affairs and Minister of Information said in a video release here.

The exhibition, which will be thrown open to the public from September 9 to 25, is a unique experience which promises to take audiences on a virtual tour to Israel, Madhusudhana Rao, media consultant to Consulate General of Israel, told PTI.

"The main problem in the world is that many don't know Israel and here people will get to see all the aspects of Israel, including technology and medicine," he said.

The exhibition is designed to evoke curiosity, participation and spark exchange of ideas between two cultures, he said.
