Pakistan on Friday condemned the terrorist attack in France that killed 84 people as "barbaric and cowardly".
"The Government of Pakistan condemns, in strongest terms, the barbaric and cowardly terrorist attack on men, women and children who were celebrating their National Day in the French city of Nice that resulted in the loss of tens of innocent lives and injuries to scores of others," Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria said in a statement.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the French people in this hour of grief," he said.
