Police officers were seen at Google's headquarters in Paris following reports of a massive tax raid targeting the search engine-and-email company.

French daily Le Parisien today reported that more than 100 tax and police detectives had participated in a dawn raid at the Silicon Valley giant's offices in Paris.

The paper did not identify its sources. Messages left with French police and finance officials and Google representatives in the French capital were not immediately returned.
