Media from around the world have gathered outside the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in central London, where the baby is expected to be born.
Prince William plans to be with his 31-year-old wife when she has their child at the hospital in Paddington, where his mother, Princess Diana, gave birth to him in June 1982.
Based on a trouble-free three-night stay, Kate's bill will top 10,000 pounds- and it is possible the Royal couple may have booked more than one suite, the Sun reported.
All rooms have satellite TV, wi-fi, radio and a safe. The wing also offers a "comprehensive wine list."
