New Pakistan's envoy to the United States has said that complete withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan is not desirable.
Jalil Abbas Jilani said that even the talk of US pullout has started showing its impact as Pakistan has started to receive more Afghan refugees than before, Dawn News reports.
The United States plans to withdraw most of its combat troops from Afghanistan by December 2014, but still wanted to leave some of its troops behind, the report added.
President Hamid Karzai, however, has been continuously denying of signing a required security agreement for troops to extend their stay in the country post 2014 withdrawal that could help the Afghan government in counter terrorism.
