Americans worried about a Trump victory? Canada immigration website just crashed

As odds of a Donald Trump presidency rises,more Americans appears to be looking for a way out and Canada seems to be the top choice.

As Donald Trump marches toward the White House, are the Americans now thinking about moving to Canada?

Canada’s immigration site - https://bsmedia.business-standard.comwww.cic.gc.ca/english - is currently down and experiencing server issues as Donald Trump appeared to be headed towards a win. 

According to twitterati, Google searches for "one way ticket to Canada" has risen by 1,700% & "how to immigrate to Canada" 1,200% in the last 2 hours.

A similar issue was seen on the Super Tuesday when Donald Trump declared his victory among the Republicans.

To add to it Canada has been  active in taking in refugees and welcoming people from Syria and around the world.

Similar trend was seen during the UK's general election and Brexit vote.
