Axar Patel gave away 10 runs and took 1 wicket off the first over of the RCB innings. KXIP captain R Ashwin came to ball the 2nd over of the inning and Virat Kohli greeted him with a boundary of the first ball. Ashwin gave away 9 runs in his first over. Mujeeb Ur Rehman came to bowl the 3rd over of the RCB innings and away only 3 runs in his first over.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman who came to bowl the 5th over of the innings doesn’t allowed Kohli and Kock to score big in his first 4 balls before cleaning RCB captain Virat Kohli up of a beautiful turning ball which hit the middle stump. A big break-through for KXIP as Kohli was in good touch. Virat Kohli scored 21 run off 16 balls with the help of 4 fours at a strike rate of 131.

KXIP Captain R Ashwin came to bowl the last over of the powerplay and gave 8 runs. Muzeeb Ur Rahman came to bowl his 3rd over and gave 7 runs with a boundary over mid-wicket hit by de Kock. Mohit Sharma came to bowl the 8th over of the inning and de Villiers greeted him with six of the first ball and at the end of the over the two South African batsmen managed to score 16 runs of Mohit Sharma’s disastrous first over given the situation of the game. Axar Patel came to bowl his 2nd over and nearly took the wicket of de Kock as after DRS show the impact is umpire calls but the ball was hitting the stumps. At the end of 9th over of the inning, RCB was 62/2 with AB de Villiers and de Kock on the crease.

While ABD hit two sixes one over long off and another midwicket to settle the nerves in RCB dough out. Mujeeb Ur Rehman, who gave only 10 runs in first 3 over, went for 19 in his last. Now RCB needs 21 runs in 3 overs.
