Over 20 leading corporate houses issued 310 letters of intent to final year MBA students from 50 management institutions from the southern region at the concluding session of the CII's Managemantra 2005, fourth edition in the series, held between November 4-5 in Chennai. |
Some of the corporates that offered job opportunities to young managers included HLL, Lason India, Servion, Hexaware Technologies, Novar India, Scope International, NEG Micon, Club Mahindra, Pepsico, Sify, Office Tiger and Intimation Fashions, among others, a CII statement said. |

The first prize was won by Arjun J of Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore. The second prize was won by Vishal Khatavkar of T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal and the third prize by Architha V S of ICFAI Business School, Chennai. |

The winners carried cash prizes of Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively. Managemantra is an initiative to showcase young managerial talent in the management colleges of the Southern Region. CII is planning to organise the annual event on a national level next year. |
