Loyola Institute of Business Administration (Liba) said that around 90 per cent of its students have been placed in the first round of placements, with an average salary of Rs 8 lakh.
In an economic environment where the business sentiment has rather been low, the placement season at Liba was expected to be a challenging one, the institute said.
The average number of offers per company stood at 3.73, the average salary till date is Rs 8 lakh.
Around 90 per cent students from the final year batch have already been placed in around 29 companies across industries. Companies from various sectors including BFSI, consulting, FMCG, consumer durables, manufacturing, e-commerce, IT, real estate, mining had participated this year.
Last year, the BFSI sector absorbed the maximum candidates and it continues to hold the same position this year in absorbing maximum students.
