AIMS's IIM convention ropes in top guns

The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) is holding its 18th Annual Convention at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, during August 25"�27.
 
The theme for this year's convention is "Management Education in Globalized Context: Opportunities for Corporates and B-Schools"
 
The primary objective of the convention is to discuss emerging opportunities for Indian management education in the post-liberalised era of the global economic order.
 
The inaugural address will be given by Kirit S Parikh, member, Planning Commission, while Arun Maira, chairman, Boston Consulting Group, and Sunil K Munjal, MD and CEO, Hero Honda Motors Ltd, will also be present.
 
Other speakers are Subir Raha, ex-chairman, ONGC; Aquil Busrai, executive director-HR, IBM India; Rajiv Wadera, senior vice-president,manufactuiring, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd, etc.
 
Dwarkanath, director-HR, Glaxo SmithKline and Arun Seth, chairman, British Telecom among others.
 
To recognize the best talent in management education, awards will be given in following competitions: Best Case Study Presentation, J L Batra Best Research Paper, Best Student Paper, Ramaswamy P Iyar Best Young Teacher Award and ICFAI Best Teacher Award.
 
AIMS is a network of over 400 management Schools in India. It provides platform to Indian Management Schools in various international fora like, EFMD, AACSB, AMDISA etc.
 
It is officially represented in different bodies of the Government of India, in matters pertaining to Management Education in India.
