Singapore-based Universitas 21 Global, an online graduate B-school (that operates as a joint venture between a global network of 16 universities called Universitas 21 and an educational solutions firm called Thomson Learning), has thrown open admissions to a new specialized management course in travel & tourism. |
But wouldn't that require the student's physical presence? The question does not faze Mukesh Aghi, the former president of IBM India who heads Universitas 21 Global. The B-school already has 800 students from 45 countries, and Aghi sees no reason that online education cannot fan out. |
