Executives from large companies join ISB course in manufacturing

This is for people with work experience ranging from 5 to 22 years

Business executives from over 20 leading manufacturing companies have enrolled for the one-year certificate programme in manufacturing and operations management (CPMOM) being newly offered by Indian School of Business(ISB).

These professionals represent companies such as Ashok Leyland, Cairn Energy plc, Cap Gemini S.A, Essar Oilfield Services India Limited, Forbes Marshall Private Limited, GMM Pfaudler Limited, Hero Motocorp Limited, Philips India Limited, Punj Llyod Limited, Reliance Energy, Tata Motors Limited and Vardhman Group of Companies among others.

"CPMOM has been created to meet the increasing need for techno-business managers in the rapidly growing manufacturing sector. Targeted at mid level professionals and SME entrepreneurs, it aims to train them for a better understanding of global business opportunities, to learn best practices and implement them," ISB said in a statement.

Participants in the founding class of CPMOM come with work experience ranging from 5 to 22 years handling roles such as general manager, supply chain management, vice president, production superintendent, director- purchase, section head - industrial engineering, structural design engineer, senior manager - quality assurance, manager - sourcing etc across sectors.
