It is resorting to the career guidance programmes for employees children to enhance the productivity of the employees. |

There may not be a linear relationship with productivity, but the director of Young Buzz, the Mumbai based career consultant, Bharti Gandhi, feels that there is a strong co- relation. |

According to Gandhi, the parents of a child now a days get increasing worried about the career of their child. |
|
This sometimes affects work. |
|
"This becomes even more serious when the child reaches an age of 16-17. The parents get even more worried about what career his or her child should pursue," Gandhi said. |

She was in Kolkata to participate in the national meet of women in public sector (WIPS). |
|
Buzz has already conducted career guidance programmes for children of employees in 24 companies in both private and public sector outfits. |

"In some cases Buzz conducted a series of counselling program," she added. |

According to Gandhi, "More and more companies are now showing interest about this". |

According to her, 17-18 year old youths faced the problem of plenty with enough career opportunities available to confuse a student. |
|
Gandhi said students should pursue a career depending on aptitude. |
|
"The probability of success is much more in such cases. So you need to provide more and more information about the career opportunities to the child. Assessment of the potential of the child is another important thing," she said. |

Young Buzz currently has offices in Mumbai, Baroda, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Dehradun. |

Gandhi informed that it will soon open offices in New Delhi and Kolkata. |
