The gender pay gap in India stands at 27 per cent, with men earning a median gross hourly salary of Rs 288.7 and women only Rs 207.8, according to the latest "Monster Salary Index". The Monster India report also indicates that while only 52.7 per cent of employees are satisfied with their pay,
75 per cent are satisfied with their job.
