HBS to host executive education programme in Mumbai

Programme marries on-the-ground, research-based knowledge of India with global perspective of one of the world's leading B-schools

UK-based Harvard Business School (HBS) will host its executive education programme, Building A Global Enterprise In India, from April 29 to May 2, 2013 at the HBS classroom, Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

It has been designed for senior leaders who seek strategies to expand within and beyond the compelling Indian market, said a statement from the business school.

The HBS statement said that the programme marries on-the-ground, research-based knowledge of India with the global perspective of one of the world's leading business schools.

"This course presents an opportunity for participants to explore both Indian and non-Indian case studies on organizations that have pursued scale within and beyond their home markets," said Tarun Khanna, Jorge Paulo Lemann Professor and faculty chair of Building a Global Enterprise in India.

The program aims to build long-lasting relationships via the professional network through close interaction with an elite group of Indian and global peers.

As with all HBS Executive Education programs, the India portfolio will be taught by members of the school's own full-time faculty using the HBS case method.

The participants comprise of senior executives from various industries.
