Head hunter Ma Foi goes in for makeover

Ma Foi Management Consultants, the Rs 122 crore human resources services company, has re-structured its organisational set-up to meet global needs. It will now have two entities, Ma Foi Management Consultants and Ma Foi Consulting Solutions.

Ma Foi Management Consultants, which is the mother brand, will focus on staffing solutions, while Ma Foi Consulting Solutions will deal with business process outsourcing and HR consulting activities and will offer services at the higher end of the value chain.

Executive Search, which was earlier part of Ma Foi Management Consultants, will now be hived off as an independent company, Ma Foi Global Search Services. The company will provide search services that can be benchmarked against global standards and will help in aligning the search business with various international search networks.

K Pandia Rajan, MD, said: "With more global brands entering the Indian market, the market has been evolving rapidly. The new identity marks the birth of a contemporary Ma Foi, which will be people oriented, market responsive and focussed on service."

The company has also introduced a new logo for the company to keep in line with the new entities.

Ma Foi started in 1992 in Chennai with a focus on recruitment services and has 42 offices in the country and five overseas subsidiaries in London, Dubai, Singapore, Colombo and Malaysia. It has over 880 clients, including 124 Fortune 500 Companies. Ma Foi had posted a revenue of Rs 122 crore for the year ended December 2004.
