IIM Lucknow ties up with Singapore Management University

Aims to explore designing, developing and delivering of joint programmes leading to certifications from SMU, IIML

The MoU promises extensive research, executive education programmes, faculty exchange and a possible dual certification programme to foster professional education globally

The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore Management University (SMU) to enter into a long term relationship, to mutually support each other in global business education.

Both IIM Lucknow and SMU will closely collaborate for research, executive education programmes and faculty and student exchange programme.

Another important feature of this collaboration would be to explore designing, developing and delivering of joint programmes leading to certifications from both SMU and IIML.

"The collaboration will include extensive research. SMU & IIM Lucknow will investigate avenues to enhance the research mission. Collaborative case studies would be developed which would be then used for teaching purpose, design and deliver series of faculty research workshops," IIM Lucknow said in a press statement.

SMU and IIM Lucknow would also explore the possibility of jointly designing, developing and delivering executive education programmes in specific areas of interest to both institutions to companies co-located in Singapore and Lucknow/Uttar Pradesh.
