The Lovely International Trust, in collaboration with the US-based University of North Carolina, Charlotte (UNCC), is contemplating a comprehensive plan in which engineering and management students can pursue final-year studies abroad. |
This was stated by UNCC Assistant Dean International Student Affairs and Admissions Greet Provoost, while delivering a lecture on 'Overseas Educational Opportunities' organised by Lovely Institutes near here on Tuesday. |
"The students in computer science engineering, IT, mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering and management disciplines are covered under the plan in the first phase," she said. |
She said, "Such direct institutional tie-ups make the whole process challenging but interesting." |
She advised students not to take help from the agents as lack of novelty could easily be noticed in such cases. |
"The aspiring students can complete the final year at UNCC, which will award the degree upon successful completion of the course. We are working out the modalities for the same and hopefully an MoU, in this regard, would be signed soon to pave the way for its implementation from the next academic session," said Aman Mittal, a trust spokesman, adding that local students could also pursue MBA and research projects at UNCC. |
