The Manipal-based T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) is expanding its course offering. It also plans to move to a new campus by next year. The new campus, spread over 49 acres in Manipal, Karnataka, is being built with an investment of over Rs 50 crore. |
It will include a knowledge-centre with wireless technology, digital library and a centre for executive learning. The residential campus is designed to house over 600 students from India and across the world. |
Last fortnight a tripartite agreement was signed between the Dr T M A Pai Foundation, the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) trust and the TAPMI Trust, for the establishment of new management programmes at Manipal and Bangalore. |
"While faculty housing on campus will lead to closer interaction with students, the agreement with MAHE will enhance interaction with several other disciplines like medical, engineering as well as life sciences. We expect TAPMI program ratings in India and abroad to go up significantly with the above investment," says Prof Nagabrahmam, director of TAPMI. |
