Rajiv Maliwal, founder and managing partner of Sabre Partners and an Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore alumnus, has been appointed to the Board of Governors of IIM-Bangalore.
Maliwal’s private equity firm has managed over $500 million, focusing on financial services, healthcare and infrastructure.
Prior to founding Sabre Partners in 2002, Maliwal was associated with Standard Chartered PLC as the global head of private equity.
IIM Bangalore’s board of director is chaired by Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director, Reliance Industries, and has over 20 members on board.
