Srusti academy, NSE in pact for capital market course

Srusti Academy of Management, a city based B-school has entered into an agreement with National Stock Exchange of India Ltd (NSE) for offering the NSE certified capital market professional (NCCMP) course.

This arrangement with NSE is the first of its kind by any B-School in Orissa.

The NSE, which accounts for nearly 74 per cent trading in equity market and more than 98 per cent market share in equity derivatives segment, stretches to more than 1500 locations in the country and supports more than 2,30,000 terminals.

It has been carrying out financial literacy programs in various forms and collaborates with reputed colleges and institutes.

The aim of the NCCMP programme is to develop skills and competency in securities markets.

It is a 100 hours program, spanning over 3-4 months and covering theoretical and practical training in subjects related to capital markets.

Successful candidates shall be awarded joint certification from NSE and Srusti Academy.

Elaborate arrangements have been made by the institute for rolling out the first batch of NCCMP from April 2011.

Apart from providing state of art infrastructure, the institute has tied up with Sankalp Share Brokers Private Ltd, a member of NSE to impart the practical training online and through a specially designed and NSE approved software.

With the increased activity in the capital market, NCCMP programme not only holds promise for the students community for employment and self employment but also could cater to the ever increasing population participating in the capital market operations, said a release issued by Srusti Academy.
